National Marine Aquarium Plymouth - a must
Followed
by Fish and Chips purchased and then not eaten until you make
your way to Hoe (the bit between the sea and the town with the
Lighthouse on it) - only a 5 minute walk from the Acquarium.
If you walk to the end of the hoe away from the NM Acquarium
you reach the start of the estuary near the Naval base where
quite often you can see large warships, submarines and aircraft
carriers coming out ... Even better ...
Visit the UK's largest aquarium and be amazed by our fascinating
underwater world. We have over 70 sharks from more than ten
different species. The sharks on display range in size from
the small dogfish to the large Sand Tiger Sharks.
National
aquarium
the Plymouth Gin Distillery
A good way to spend an hour and a half and is
only a 3 minute walk from the Acqarium - it is surprisingly
interesting for all ages and not too long. The benefit is that
you get a free G&T thrown in at the end!
